Enrollment & Eligibility

Mi Escuelita is part of the California State Preschool Program (CSPP), supporting early learning and kindergarten readiness.

Age Requirements:

  • 3-year-olds: Children must turn three on or before December 1 of the fiscal year.
  • 4-year-olds: Children must turn four on or before December 1 of the fiscal year.

Family Eligibility:

Families may qualify if they are:

  • Income eligible
  • Experiencing homelessness
  • Involved with CPS
  • Receiving public assistance
  • Have a child with exceptional needs

Required Documents

  • Birth certificate
  • Income verification (form is included in the registration packet. Copies of recent paychecks will be required)
  • Immunization records
  • Emergency contact information
  • Residency (if required)

Health Requirements:

  • Up-to-date immunizations
  • Health/allergy information

Enrollment Priority:

  • CPS / at risk children
  • Eligible 4-year olds
  • Eligible -year olds
  • Lowest income prioritized within groups

Family Responsibilies

  • Regular attendance
  • Notify teacher of any absences
  • Sign in/out daily
  • Keep all information updated
